Castings - Profiles - getting Out there!!

As an actor or performer you need people to discover you.

That's what we cover on the introduction meeting/shoot.

No two performers are the same - so no two meetings are the same!!

The first meeting with a young or new performer is the most important.

It is here you assess the natural talent, confidence and ability, and importantly the best way to build upon it.

As this is the acting section we will major on acting and performance here - although modelling can often be included as an option.

With those under 18 most early contact is with the parents, guardian, agent representative.

Only on the day does the contact begin with the performer.

It is vital to my mind that parents are not just supportive but realistic to what is meant by performing within the commercial and industry sector. 

Those 16 + find parental involvement frustrating more often than not and special arrangements can sometimes be made for them if all agree.

Once 18 it is the participants own decision as to what is included in any photoshoot/video work for say the Halfling Project - or what casting they apply for and attend.
