Update from the desk - October 11th 2016

Greetings all!!

I am sure absolutely no one cares that I have not written anything here since June - summers been and gone and now on this cold October night i am busy updating.

Since June quite a lot has happened - it's a different desk in a different office and I'm typing this on a new computer!

I've changed the web software and began to change The Halfling project website to reflect the greater changes there - namely the photography and AV work is now under the act4ward or Wildven titles.

Video over the summer has been extended and work is in place to extend voice and audio work.

I am combining with Moonrise Studios in CGI voice over experience using the CGI animation Sirocco 9 made by Moonrise. more on this elsewhere.

New talent has been building well, but sadly the old story of being let down by newbies goe's on.

I have launched a 10 year celebration to the birthday of William David and that of StarNow by offering experience shoots at the station until new years end on the same time for terms of The Halfling Project. I am also selecting those from Halfling I want to bring with me long term to act4ward.

There's quite a few plans currently under wraps but in general it's all building well.

The amazing Bruce H E has gone on from strength to strength and reached 18 in July, and Daniel Jeffrey deserves a mention - this very talented Northern lad does amazing work with The Halfling Project and now act4ward but what makes him so different is we are doing this online due to distance. That said I'm hoping to get Dan here for a couple of days soon as my guest to really get things moving.

It would be unfair to single out all the other great actors and participants over the summer - they have been amazing. It was good to welcome Luke Blackmore back after a break -he is not only very talented but just great fun to work with and has a great family to visit too.

Then there has to be a mention for the ageing [now 13] Joshua Faull with his outstanding work and attitude and his mother Janine who finds talent everywhere to introduce to the work.

All in all it's going well - but never enough hours in the day at the moment.
