It's been sometime since I updated anything here on act4ward so thanks in advance for your patience.

If you keep updated via my social media you will know that i was taken ill in November, and whilst i kept working during this time a lot of the day to day was put on hold.

During April I began to get things back to working status - but The Halfling project had to have priority over the new act4ward.

Now act4ward is building again  - and decisions have been made to it's immediate future.

Although built around a model of commercial work I have decided that for the Spring and Summer act4ward will often work on a time for basis with participants who meet the criteria set.

By working together I get the chance to try out idea's and concept's scripts and scenario's with them, and they in return can build up their brand and range, confidence and castings ability with me with lots of free images and video to use on their self promotion.

I have extended the including of video work massively and audio work techniques too.

Act4ward remains a unique opportunity for those starting out , or building up their confidence to work within the entertainment industry.

But also act4ward does not insist that is the participants aim - they can simply do it as a hobby or confidence builder [often in conjunction with The Halfling Project] - all that is asked is that they take it seriously [whilst having fun] and don't let me down by not turning up or making the effort.

I will always limit the numbers to ensure I can help fully those who ask for it, or frankly are useful to me and my work.

Act4ward is still developing and open to idea's - it's actually quite exciting!

Now lets cover briefly location.

The station is an excellent location - but it is very small.

The area surrounding the station is excellent for location shooting.

Act4ward also has use of a massive hall for bigger advanced work - but this is a costly option on time for work.

Therefore it's use may incur a cost to those taking part.

But lets get things in perspective - free images and video for the relative small contribution to using the hall [about £10.00 an hour ] is still dam good value, and as it's only a mile from the station both location can be used.

In January after Paulines retirement the station tearooms are now run by Shorna & her mother.

The tearoom is the pride of the station and well worth a visit!
